I would like to begin by saying that I was one of the first patients at PMC. They opened back in April and I have been going there regularly, two to three times a week, since they opened their doors. I have always found them to be very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Recently, they began a face lift on the place and it has been very nice seeing the building transform. The waiting room is way bigger, with a lot more drinks and snacks offered to the patients waiting. Also, as with any change, the staff is almost all new. Lonnie, who happened to be the best budtender anywhere, is no longer there. Also, the new girls they hired are all of about 19 years of age and really don't seem to know much about the meds for medical purposes. I understand that staff has to change with growing, but can't we at least hire knowledgeable staff that makes patients feel like they know what they are talking about. Now, I have always gotten the best meds out there from PMC. Unfortunately, since the remodel, the meds have taken a back seat and seem to be getting a little dry. I was even looking at one top shelf med, priced at 65$ an 8th, and it was powdery it was so dry. I mentioned it to the budtender and she laughed as she told me that she had smoked some the night before and it was dry. I am not sure why they were still asking full price, you would think maybe they would discount it down a little and get some fresh stuff in. Now, having said that, I would still go back. They weigh everything in front of you, they always have. They have a ton of strains to choose from. They always have. I also love the fact that they weigh at 4grams an 8th and have plenty of edibles, hash, drinks, etc. Now, the one big complaint I do have about PMC...they censor!!! Having said that, let me explain. After being a patient there for so long, I had always wrote review after review for them on weedmaps.com. Then, after my last visit on 7/21/10, I posted a review saying exactly what I said here (this was a copy/paste until this part). They read the review and I guess got upset that it didn't praise them praise them praise them as my reviews usually did. So, they yanked my review off. I then reposted and they sent me an email telling me that they wanted me to just update my original reviews now instead of posting new ones. Now, of course they do, my original review is several pages to the bottom as I was the fourth person to ever review them. Basically, they didn't like what I had to say and decided they would censor. After the email, I reposted. I thought that's what reviews were for, honest, accurate opinions from the users of the product. Since I reposted something they didn't like, they basically tried to block me from weedmaps.com. Now, the email address at weedmaps.com that blocked me is candy@weedmaps.com. I have since, changed my ip address and I am back on weedmaps.com. I send "candy" an email almost every day now to let her know that they cannot censor America. I am now, also going around to every dispensary website I can find and posting this review to PMC. I urge people to use other sources besides weedmaps.com as they are not for the people, they are for the business. If we use other resources like this one findmepot.com then we can still get our meds, see honest reviews, start a community here, and hopefully, not end up censored. If you visit PMC, I hope their meds are fresher today than they were, I am sure they are. I encourage you to write a review, and be HONEST!
